New children's centre confirmed

The new children's centre on our current site has now been confirmed. As we are in the middle of a credit crunch we'll do our bit for recycling by continuing this blog to incorporate the forthcoming scheme!

Contract Manager's Update

MAIN BUILDING

• We are now 50% completed on the external drainage
• Decoration – 30% completed
• Commenced 2nd fix M&E and Joinery, approx 30% completed
• Windows and Doors – 80% completed
• Sedum roof - 60% completed
• Plastering – completed, except the refurb to school, which is due to commence during the summer hols

ADMINISTRATION BLOCK

• Roof structure – completed
• Screed – completed
• Windows and Doors – 80% completed
• 1^st fix all trades – 70% completed

We are due to commence the refurbishment to the school on Monday 20^th July 2009 (summer hols) and also the works to the new Kitchen.
